Is Marijuana legal in Barcelona?
The personal use of marijuana was decriminalized in Spain, basically it is allowed to grow up to 2 plants per household regardless of their size. Still the use of marijuana is expected to be done in private, so you should never smoke or use it in public places. Added to this, transportation, selling or trafficking of the substance is strictly illegal in Barcelona and it’s considered a criminal offense, depending on the incident.
How do Cannabis Club work then?
As it is legal and safe to grow marijuana and it’s use is allowed in the privacy of your home, private organizations of experienced Cannabis users came to existence. Long story short, cannabis users and growers can legally come together as a private organization.
Are Cannabis Clubs a legal loophole?
Absolutely not. Cannabis Clubs are private organizations and associations that operate based on core aspects of Spain’s Constitution. This core aspects are the right to privacy and the right to associate. Added to this there are regulations that only the serious, legal places follow to the letter, which makes Círculo a perfectly safe place.
How can I become a member?
The only way to visit our club is being referred by a current member which can invite you to join, depending on certain rules and conditions, we reserve the right to accept new members.
Can I see a catalog of products before I join?
We’re not a allowed to discuss anything related to the cannabis itself with non-members, as this would be considered promotion. The purpose of this website is merely to give information about us as a club experience.
I'm not 21 years old yet, can you do an exception?
No exceptions are made.
My friend doesn’t smoke, does he/she need to become a member too?
Anybody who wants to access the club has to become a member, this is a private association. No exceptions.
